The author has questioned the 1966 tennis championship. He has contacted Fred Steinbrecher, the Madison coach and CC tournament director. The eventwas twice rained out and never played. The Malabar coach Ken Coleman, who is at Purdue University, only remembers a picture with the trophy after somematch. Ashland defeated the other four teams in the CC, and they defeatedMalabar 5-0 in the opener at Malabar on March 30th. Malabar also lost toWooster. Based on the records even Coach Steinbrecher wonders why Ashland is not the 1966 CC Tennis champion
